Late in a January afternoon, I was driving through the Marchairuz pass when in a blink of an eye, I saw this image. The walls of snow prevented me from stopping, but I could find a place not too far away. I came back with the Pentax 67 on the tripod. It was so cold that day that my fingers were stiff and aching within seconds. I had a hard time making all the adjustments and taking a few shots, but is was well worth the pain!
