The sun had set. I waited until there was no movement in the nearby vegetation, and I exposed for 15 seconds. This image was one of my first images made with a view camera, and I was thinking: "That's the kind of images I want". My position, nested in a juniper bush above the trail, was risky and uncomfortable. On my way down, I tumbled a few times in the dark, but I still remember how eager I was. It seemed that the whole nature was praising the Creator, before entering the long winter sleep.
