A thin layer of ice had started to form on the pond and the fog had just cleared. I would have preferred a view back-lit to emphasize the fog's halation and the fine chiseling of white frost on the branches, but the road was visible. Finally, I took a completely different image than that which had led me to unpack the camera. An image which has its charm too.
