A river always carries symbols, such as the passing of time, or the passage one cannot go through without a transformation and of which one does not return unchanged. But my concerns of the moment were more for the wind, which made the branches on the other bank move when I took this long exposure just before dark. The foliages did move, but I found that the movement was responding to the water's movement.
